Eternal Jew's Tale, Manuscript 2, illuminations

The slideshow below presents the first round of gold leaf work for the second illuminated manuscript I’m producing, as I continue the storyline of my epic poem, The Atternen Juez Talen, or, in standard English, The Eternal Jew’s Tale. The manuscript is produced using hand-made Indian paper; the calligraphy is done with India Ink; the gold leaf is laid on a ground of acrylic gesso. Presented below are the gold decorations at the end of each of the 16 chapters in this manuscript.

Yet to do: further gold detailing, watercolor illustrations and decorative colorwork, and a leather binding.
